SUMMARY:Growing Up Peaceful - October 23\, 2019
DESCRIPTION:Growing Up Peaceful: Holding\, Helping\nand Empowering Your Anxious Child\n \n \nDuring our time we will look at different ways kids express anxiety to their parents. We will also look at how our reaction to their anxiety can be similar to how we handle our own fears.  The hope of this seminar is to wake us to an awareness of how we deal with our own anxiety so that we can be intentional in helping shepherd our kids through theirs. We will look at how to take anxious protests seriously\, how to help ground a child who is overwhelmed\, and how to help them “disobey” worrisome thinking. You will receive practical tools as well as spiritual encouragement to rest in what God is doing through your child’s struggle. \nWednesday\, October 23\, 2019 from 6:30-9:00pm\nLed by Meredith Spatola\, LPCS\nRegistration is $50 per person.\nRegistration closes Monday\, October 21\, 2019.\nSpace is limited so sign up today!  We hope to see you there! \nClick here for more info or to register. \nPlease contact Jamie Swartzendruber with\n any questions: Jamie@thebarnabascenter.org.

SUMMARY:Man Enough - January 2017
DESCRIPTION: Man Enough\n \n Saturday\, January 21\, 2017 8:30am – 1:00pm\nHeld at the SouthPark campus of Church at Charlotte\n2500 Carmel Road\, Charlotte\, NC 28226\n \n“Please\, just tell me what you want me to do!” Sometimes it is a cry of frustration\, sometimes a plea. But how often have you said it to the woman you want to love best and somehow just can’t do it right? \nMan Enough is a one morning seminar for men who want to love well – or at least better – and just can’t get it right. In the real world where babies cry\, money is tight\, schedules are too busy & work requires too much what does it mean to love your wife like Christ loves the church? \n Man Enough is for men who want to be honest. Man Enough is for men who want to love better. Man Enough is for men who want God to be more real in the daily ins and outs of marriage. Join with other men who want to grow their marriage\, grow their love\, and deepen their own hearts for God. \n Palmer Trice of the Barnabas Center in Charlotte has been leading marriage and men’s seminars for 25 years. He and his wife\, Lynne\, have sought something better and found that God wants to meet us in the midst of that journey. Palmer will share honest stories about their marriage. He will bring helpful passages of the Bible to life. And he will help us answer not only “What should I do?” but “How in the heck can I do it?” \n Cost: $30 per person\nRegistration closes Thursday\, January 19th. \nCLICK HERE to register \nSave \nSave \nSave \nSave
