Meredith Cloninger

Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor

Meredith joined The Barnabas Center in January 2009 upon completing her master’s degree in Counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and her bachelor’s degree in Religion and Psychology from Furman University.

She has completed extensive training with The Barnabas Center and counseled as a mental health intern in a church-based counseling center in North Carolina.  She has been involved in an urban ministry in Charlotte that offers lay vocational training to adults.

Meredith sees individual women struggling with:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Grief
  • Loneliness/chronic issues
  • Post-partum and hormonal emotional issues
  • Recovery work for adult children of alcoholics
  • Relational brokenness

Meredith enjoys walking with women to encounter God in struggle and to move through struggle to restoration, meaning, and hope.
